2024 Matchplay Tournament
It is the responsibility of both players to arrange their tie.
All ties must be played on or before the round date, if no name if provided to the committee on the closing date of the round (notwithstanding a dispute) both players will be eliminated.
Ties can be played over 9 or 18 holes but must be mutually agreed, failure to reach agreement will default to a 18 hole tie.
Ties must be played at a mutually agreed course.
Full handicaps apply, the lowest handicapped player will not receive any shots and the highest handicap player will be reduced by the same amount and receive shots on their match index.

Example – the 16 handicap player will go to scratch the 26 handicap player will go to 10, receiving 1 shot at holes index 1-10.
In the event of a tie, by default extra holes will be played until the tie has a winner, there will be no handicap applied in a playoff. Players can mutually agree to settle their tie on the putting green or the toss of a coin.

Should a dispute arise and not be resolved between both parties it should be informed to the committee at the earliest opportunity, the committee’s decision will be final.
